Terry Norrington
has been working in the plumbing and heating industry for more than 33
years.
Entering the
trade through an indentured apprenticeship with Unilever in the UK, Terry
passed both craft city and guilds and advanced craft city and guilds exams.
As a major international company, Unilever provided Terry with a structured
and disciplined learning environment enabling him to gain experience in a
variety of related skills beyond the realms of conventional plumbing, such
as welding and air conditioning. At the same time Unilever instilled a
commitment to quality of work and service that Terry has carried into his
own business activities and now sets him aside from the stereotype
tradesman.
Upon moving to Menorca Terry worked with a local company of good repute for
2 and half years. During this time he became fluent in the local language
and forged many local business links. An amicable parting has now allowed
him me to concentrate on his own business - Tuberias.
